Skill Level: Intermediate / Advanced.
Ride Description: A little trail riding, but only as necessary to go to meadows and hills with trees. Recommend downloading the free COTREX app if you don’t have another winter trails app that shows Red Dirt Reservoir trails.
Location: Red Dirt – Red Dirt Road Parking Lot. See View Venue Website link below for map/directions.
- Parking lot may or may not be plowed, but it usually is or is well packed down.
Breakfast (optional): 7:30a, The Moose in Kremmling. (Note that Ride Leader Rick will not be at breakfast.)
Pre-Ride Gear Check & Meeting: 9:00a, near Rick’s truck.
Ride Start Time: 9:15a.
Ride End Time: 4:00p, or earlier if group wants.
Must Haves: Mntn sled, Beacon w/good batts, Probe, Shovel, FRS or GMRS radio set to channel 18, privacy code 21.
Lunch Plan: Carry whatever you need to stay fueled and hydrated for the day; we won’t be returning to the parking lot until the end of our ride.
